Getting Here

Grand Abimo’s main trump card is transport accessibility. If you are arriving at Istanbul New Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökçen (SAW), then Havaist or Havabus airport shuttles would bring you most conveniently and economically to the hotel. Their last stopAksaray Metrois literally a five-to-ten-minute walk from the hotel. This means there is no need to pay for an expensive taxi ride or struggle through complicated metro transfers with suitcases in tow.You just get off the bus, walk a few blocks, and within minutes you are at the reception desk.

For getting around, you basically have two key options available almost instantly. The first one is the T1 Tram Line (Yusufpaşa or Aksaray stops). This tram is a “gold mine” for tourists because it links all the main spots: from palaces and bazaars to Eminönü pier where ferries to the Asian side as well as Bosphorus tour boats depart. It’s frequent, new, and slices through traffic which has become perpetually gridlocked in this city.

Secondly, the hotel is close to the Yenikapı transport hub. This is a major interchange station where different metro lines (M1, M2) and the Marmaray suburban train meet. From here, you can take the Marmaray under the Bosphorus to the Asian side in minutes, or take the M2 metro line up to Taksim Square and the modern shopping districts of Levent. This level of connectivity means you can explore the entire expanse of Istanbul without ever needing to rent a car or rely on taxis.
